It’s not fair to compare LeBron James and Michael Jordan, instead the latter should only be compared to Kobe Bryant

Over the past 15 years, several mainstream media companies have compared Michael Jordan to LeBron James. However, it is tough to compare them when they have played in two completely different systems which changed how they played the game.

As a result, people should only compare great players who played the same position in the same system. Otherwise it’s practically impossible to find accurate arguments for or against players that played completely different games with different roles.

For instance, an accurate comparison for Michael Jordan would be Kobe Bryant because they were shooting guards who played in Phil Jackson’s triangle offense for at least eight years.
