NBA Mock Draft 6.0: Jaren Jackson Jr. is trending up, Luka Doncic falls

17. Milwaukee Bucks – Zhaire Smith, G, Texas Tech

Some analysts have Zhaire Smith have Texas Tech guard going in the lottery, but I have a feeling he’ll fall to the middle of the first-round. And that’s to the benefit for the Milwaukee Bucks in this scenario.

Smith has a ton to prove; he didn’t have a big role during his lone season at Texas Tech and is somewhat of an unknown as we draw closer and closer to the NBA Draft.

But that’s a risk the Bucks can take. Taking Smith here would give them depth in their backcourt, and could prepare them for a future without Eric Bledsoe and potentially Jabari Parker.
