9. LA Clippers (trade up from No. 12, 13, with Knicks) – Collin Sexton, PG, Alabama

The LA Clippers make a trade!

With Collin Sexton still available at No. 9, the LA Clippers don’t waste any time or risk the chance of him not falling to No. 12. In this deal, they trade the No. 12 and 13 pick to the Knicks for the No. 9 pick – I tried to make this deal as simple as possible, though draft day trades never are.

The Knicks were hoping to snag Michael Porter Jr. or Trae Young here at No. 9. With both off the board, they decide to add an asset rather than taking a player that is probably on the same level of talent that they could get a few picks later.
