Collin Sexton gets drafted before Trae Young

Just a couple months ago, there was whispers that Trae Young could be a top 3 or 5 pick. However, in the weeks leading up to the NBA Draft, there’s now a better chance that he falls out of the top 7 picks than him going in the top 7.

With that in mind, coupled with the fact that other point guard prospects continue to rise up the draft boards, I believe that Collin Sexton will be drafted ahead of Young when it’s all said and done. Sexton and Young are essentially the same when it comes to physical measurements – both are considered small for the new prototypical NBA point guard – and it just depends what type of PG you prefer, an offensive-minded one or a defensive-minded one.

Sexton is a bulldog on the defensive end; Young is a prolific offensive wizard. I believe Sexton is viewed in a more favorable light than Young in most NBA teams’ eyes. Just a hunch.
