As 2018 NBA Free Agency approaches, we breakdown and rank the top 10 point guards set to hit the open market this summer

NBA Free Agency officially opens July 1 (teams can officially begin signing players July 6), but now that the 2018 NBA Draft is officially in the books it’s full steam ahead for arguably the most exciting time in the Association.

LeBron James, Paul George and DeMarcus Cousins are the biggest names that are expected to hit the open market, but there are a number of other valuable players that are expected to be in the mix this summer.

In the week leading up to NBA Free Agency, we’re going to be doing positional rankings ahead of free agency. We began with the top 35 overall free agents, which can be found here. But today we will start with the point guard position, which is quickly becoming one of the NBA’s most important position in today’s game.

From the likes of Chris Paul to the undervalued players like Shabazz Napier and Elfrid Payton, here are the top 10 point guards expected to hit the open market during NBA Free Agency.
