2. Isaiah Thomas, Los Angeles Lakers (unrestricted)

Stats: 15.2 points, 4.8 assists, 2.1 rebounds

Isaiah Thomas started the 2017-18 season with the Cleveland Cavaliers, but ended it with the Los Angeles Lakers. After being traded in the package for Kyrie Irving, Thomas never really found his rhythm with the Cavs. And at the NBA Trade Deadline, Cleveland elected to pull the plug on that experiment.

Even though Thomas was slightly better – and looked more like his old self – with the Lakers, he still struggled with his shooting and failed to look like the NBA MVP candidate that he was just a year before with the Celtics.

I’m not sure what type of money he’s going to demand on the open market, but a team might be able to steal him on a one-year, prove it type of deal. Thomas might not ever be the old Isaiah Thomas, but that doesn’t mean he can’t still be a really good NBA player.
