Phoenix Suns

Owners of the 1st overall pick are almost always rebuilding, this case is no different. DeAndre Ayton is set to join Devin Booker, who has scored more points in a game than any other player currently in the NBA, and Josh Jackson, a defensive stud who has shown flashes of offense averaging over 18 points per game after the all-star break, as one of the youngest cores in the league.

With possibly the best 3-and-D prospect in the draft on board after trading up to secure Mikal Bridges, talented French guard Elie Okobo and Colorado senior George King also joining the young Suns. They have a year to figure out who belongs on the roster before next offseason when nearly all of their undesirable contracts come off the books. They could be in a good position to attract more than one top-level free agent depending on the play of Ayton, Booker, Jackson, and Bridges.

Verdict: Rebuild
