Paul George re-signs in OKC

Nope. Sorry. Not this summer, Lakers fans. You may have won the offseason by landing LeBron James, but you’re not going to pull a Pat Riley and snag the two top players in NBA Free Agency. Even though, for the last two years, all we’ve heard about Paul George is about the Lakers, I just don’t think he’s going to throw in the towel on Russell Westbrook. Not yet.

I believe George is going to sign a two-year deal with the Thunder, and try to make it work with Westrbook. I’m not sure what he will do in a year or two, but for at least one more season George will resist the urge to make the move to Los Angeles.

Sorry, LeBron, find another running mate.
