NBA Trade Rumors: Now that LeBron James has officially moved on, we explore three trade options that could jumpstart the Cavs’ rebuild
Well, The King has left the building again. For the second time now, LeBron James has spurned his hometown team in favor of a sunshine state. This time around the state is California, and the team is the most storied and winning franchise in the history of the league, the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Lake Show has immediately gone to work in putting the strangest supporting cast we’ve seen around James yet. Almost completely devoid of consistent shooters, save Brandon Ingram, LeBron may have his work cut out for him keeping his ridiculous eight straight finals appearances going. As interesting as the Lakers are going to be this season, we’re going to have a closer look at the team he left instead.
The Cleveland Cavaliers have to decide what direction they want to take. They have a roster capable of making the playoffs in the depleted Eastern Conference. Although making it out of the second round, on the other hand, seems like too much to ask from this squad.
With the future first rounder they shipped to Atlanta being top 10 protected in 2019 and 2020 before turning into two second-round picks, the franchise has a tough decision to make moving forward.
