NBA Trade Rumors: Exploring 5 possible landing spots in the event that the Portland Trail Blazers decide to trade Damian Lillard

Damian Lillard is a dynamite talent and a relentless player on the offensive side. He’s no question a superstar. With that said, he’s coming off what he’ll probably consider his worst play of basketball in his career – four-straight games of being outplayed by Jrue Holiday and embarrassed by the underdog Pelicans.

I have zero doubts that Lillard will bounce back from this series. I have zero doubts that Lillard is not okay with where he is as a player, even as great as he is. But, Portland knows the monstars are lurking in the Bay area, let alone Houston and LAbron are in their conference too.

It’s evident that the dynamic duo of C.J McCollum and Dame are not enough to win you a championship. Portland also isn’t a market drawing serious interest from marquee players either.

That leaves you with one option in today’s NBA: Trade away your best player and rebuild. It doesn’t seem that Portland or Lillard would want to split, but anything is possible in today’s NBA.
