Isaiah Thomas, Denver Nuggets

As mentioned before, Isaiah Thomas went from getting NBA MVP votes and helping recruit Gordon Hayward to the Boston Celtics to being traded twice this past season and struggling with his recovery.

He also underwent hip surgery back in March to hopefully help him recover from a injury that’s been problematic for quite some time. Thomas did everything you could ask of when he was in Boston from leading the team to the Eastern Conference Finals to playing after the death of his sister, to helping recruit free agents.

Unfortunately for him, the Celtics traded him for Kyrie Irving not long after.

Now Thomas needs to show that he’s past the injured hip and back to the point where he is once again one the NBA’s most entertaining scorers. If he can achieve that this season, then next summer he should be able to find a more financially friendly deal.
