Malcolm Brogdon, Milwaukee Bucks

The Milwaukee Bucks have been unable to escape the first round of the playoffs in recent memory, but no one can deny that their young talent continues to improve, and combo guard Malcolm Brogdon is ready to take the next step in his development.

In his two years on the scene, Brogdon has been an encouraging piece to the puzzle for the Bucks. He’s played aggressive on-ball defense, handled and pushed the rock up the floor, and been able to spot up from the outside.

Averaging a career-high 13.0 points per game on an improved 48.5 percent shooting from the field, Brogdon was a more productive player on the offensive end in his second season, but he was limited to just 48 games due to injury. Now, opportunity has presented itself for the guard.

The Bucks are Giannis Antetokounmpo’s team, but the time is now for Brogdon to come into his own as a franchise player and a potential All-Star. With Jabari Parker no longer in the team’s rotation and new head coach Mike Budenholzer calling the shots on the sideline, the 2018-19 NBA season is going to bring out a new version of Brogdon on both ends.
