18. Kemba Walker, Nicolas Batum – Charlotte Hornets
The Charlotte Hornets have become stagnant over the last few years. After hitting a climax and nearly advancing to the second round of the NBA Playoffs for the first time since the 2001-02 season, they have missed the playoffs two straight seasons.
And a big reason why is because this team is essentially Kemba Walker and not much else. Nicolas Batum, the team’s starting shooting guard, has taken several steps back in his game and simply doesn’t look like the same player as he used to be.
Walker is still extremely effective, but if you slow him down this team doesn’t have much else to hit you with on the offensive end. This team is in salary cap hell, and doesn’t appear to be getting out anytime soon.
