7. Dejounte Murray, DeMar DeRozan – San Antonio Spurs

The San Antonio Spurs may have lost Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green, but gaining DeMar DeRozan is something that shouldn’t be slept on. San Antonio loves the potential that Dejounte Murray carries, and is in prime position for a breakout season this year.

DeRozan is going to fill the stat sheet like he always does, and is only going to get better under the umbrella of Gregg Popovich. Even though these two players haven’t played together yet, the guidance of Pop should be enough to make it all work.

The Spurs may have lost the PR game when it comes to the Leonard sweepstakes, but they might have won the trade when it’s all said and done.
