28. Trae Young, Kent Bazemore – Atlanta Hawks

The Atlanta Hawks are another team that has hit a rough patch in their franchise’s history, but they feel they are beginning to turn the corner. Especially after drafting Trae Young, out of Oklahoma, who they feel will be a star one day.

And during Summer League, he did show flashes of his potential. He draws comparisons to the likes of Stephen Curry and Damian Lillard, for their small but explosive statures. And frankly, that’s really the biggest question when it comes to Young’s game.

Can he be effective in the NBA despite his size. One area of his game that is often overlooked is his playmaking ability. When watching Young one of the first things that pops is his shooting, as it should. However, he’s a really good playmaker too, and that shouldn’t be overlooked.
