26. D.J. Augustin, Evan Fournier – Orlando Magic

There might not be a more “meh” backcourt starting duo than the Orlando Magic‘s. After investing in Elfrid Payton and Victor Oladipo over the last few seasons, the team elected that it was time to give up on each of them and move in a different direction.

So, over the last few offseasons, the Magic traded Oladipo to the Oklahoma City Thunder and Payton to the Phoenix Suns. Interestingly, both are now in different spots. Oladipo is playing like an all-star and Payton is playing the best basketball of his career.

In their places, the Magic has invested in Evan Fournier, who actually had the best season of his career thus far in 2017-18. On the other hand, they’re stuck trying to find a running mate for Fournier, stuck with stopgap D.J. Augustin.
