Jason Terry

Sixth Man of the Year, NBA Champion

18881 Career points, 102.0 WS

Although Jason Terry is considered one of the greatest sixth men in recent memory, he didn’t begin his career that way. In his first eight seasons, he averaged nearly 18 points and 5.5 assists between the Atlanta Hawks and Dallas Mavericks.

Around his 30th birthday, he made the move to the bench and never looked back, winning Sixth Man of the Year and helping the Dallas Mavericks to a championship in 2011 as their second-leading scorer.

Terry has made stops in Boston, Brooklyn, Houston, and Milwaukee in the second half of his storied career, sniping treys all along the way. He is currently 3rd all-time in 3-pointers with 2282 career makes, behind only Reggie Miller and Ray Allen, not bad company to keep for a shooter.

The Jet will turn 41 before the season begins, it’s unclear if any team has interest in him at this point, but if he doesn’t find himself on an NBA roster by the start of the season, its safe to say he has had himself quite the career.
