21. Dallas Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks are slowly rebuilding their team back to relevance. After adding Luka Doncic, who I love, and Jalen Brunson in the NBA Draft, the team carried that great start to the offseason by signing DeAndre Jordan away from the LA Clippers.

Dirk Nowitzki is also still around, as is Harrison Barnes and quality veteran Wesley Matthews. There are some really intriguing pieces on this roster and their fate this season could ultimately fall on the hands of Doncic and the progression of second-year point guard Dennis Smith Jr.

If he’s the real deal, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the Mavs potentially emerge as a dark horse for the NBA Playoffs.
