16. Washington Wizards

Seen as one of the most underperforming teams of the last five years, the Washington Wizards, once again, will be doubted headed into the 2018-19 NBA season. And how can you blame their naysayers?

One year after falling one game short of an Eastern Conference Finals appearance, the Wizards followed that up by taking a big step back at finishing the 2017-18 NBA season as the 8th seed in the Eastern Conference and falling to the Toronto Raptors in six games.

The Wizards have the big names, in John Wall and Bradley Beal, but they continue to come up short when it matters most. How can you expect that to change this season?
