9. Jaylen Brown, Boston Celtics

Age: 21

Stats: 14.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, 40% 3PT

The fact that Jaylen Brown is on this list just explains of how much young talent that the Boston Celtics currently have on their roster. It’s really insane. With that said, Brown is one of the players that is often overlooked in Boston, and understandably so.

But Brown is a really good young player that was a high pick just two years ago. He had a rough rookie season, but exploded (by necessity) during his sophomore campaign this past year. When Gordon Hayward went down in the opening minutes of the 2017-18 NBA season, Brown rose to the occasion and filled the role.

When Kyrie Irving was lost for the season, and even more was asked from Brown, he also answered the bell. As good as Brown can be on the offensive end, he’s really a better player on the other end of the floor. He’s one of the best two-way young players in the NBA, and that might be the biggest reason he makes the cut at No. 9.
