PHILADELPHIA, PA – APRIL 6: Ben Simmon

5. Ben Simmons, Philadelphia 76ers

Age: 22

Stats: 15.8 points, 8.2 assists, 8.1 rebounds

Ben Simmons took the NBA by storm last season on his way to winning the Rookie of the Year award. He was one of the biggest reasons why the Philadelphia 76ers won 52 games and made the Eastern Conference Semifinals last season.

Even though this team still has a ways to go to compete on the same stage as the Golden State Warriors or Houston Rockets, the Sixers are barely scratching the surface on their potential, as is Simmons.

When it comes to his game, though, there is still some room for him to grow. He missed all of his 3-point attempts (11) during his rookie season and often looks like he wants nothing to do with taking jump shots.
