The bloody nose

With roughly three minutes remaining in Game 1 of the 2007 Western Conference Finals of a one-point game, Steve Nash and Tony Parker accidentally hit each other head-first and then it all started.

Nash began to bleed profusely, but he was going to have to be dragged off the court in order for him not to compete. For me, this epitomizes everything that Nash was. He was tough, and was the ultimate competitor.

They tried to tape, bandaid – you name it – keep it together. But blood keep oozing through and during timeouts was trying to keep the blood out of his eyes with a towel. It was one of the most iconic moments in Phoenix Suns history.
