Nash gets revenge on Mavs

After refusing to pay him the big money that he was demanding on the open market as a free agent, Steve Nash left the Dallas Mavericks to sign with the Phoenix Suns in 2004. Mark Cuban and the Mavs elected to go with their younger core, and Nash made them pay.

During his first season with the Suns, he was named league MVP and in the playoffs the Suns and Mavs happened to meet in the second round.

Nash would catapult the Suns to a six-game victory over Dallas, highlighted by three incredible performances to close the series. During games 4-6, Nash averaged 40 points, 9.6 assists and nine rebounds. He was absolutely insane and possessed to close the series against his former team.

And, if I had to bet, it must’ve felt incredible.
