Sacramento Kings: Projected wins – 28

The Sacramento Kings are the team I will be watching the most on League Pass this season. I know, I know, it sounds crazy, and honestly I don’t see them doing much better than their projected 28 wins, but I really like this young core.

With De’Aaron Fox, Buddy Hield, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Willie Cauley-Stein and Marvin Bagley III as your potential starting lineup, there are going to be a ton of opportunities for some run and gun basketball. They have it all; size, athleticism and shooting ability.

Picture a Kings’ fast break: Cauley-Stein grabs the board, outlet to Fox, who is either going to find Bogdanovic or Hield for a three, or lob it to Bagley for a powerful slam. All of this will only be possible, however, if the coaching staff lets the young guys run, and keeps Zach Randolph in a bench roll.

To add on to this awesome young core, Harry Giles is healthy, after suffering multiple knee injuries throughout his high school and college career. Giles is a freak athlete, solid rim protector and has expanded his shooting range to behind the arc. If he can stay healthy, he’ll be an awesome addition to this young team.

Like I said, don’t expect this team to win a ton of games, but they’re going to be fun to watch get up and down the floor, and I’m going to watch a lot of Kings’ basketball, looking onto their bright future.
