A team, with as many assets as they do, like the Philadelphia 76ers are another team to keep a close eye on when it comes to the Jimmy Butler sweepstakes. Even though it might be better in the long-term to stay the course and continue to trust the process, adding a player like Jimmy B might be necessary to combat the Boston Celtics this season.

If Philly really wants to be a player in the Eastern Conference this year, they will need to make a big splash. They simply can’t put all the pressure on the development of Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons.

Even though their young players will continue to get better, this team is nowhere near to what a healthy Boston is going to be this season. If the Sixers want to fast-forward their relevance, trading for Jimmy B is a win-now move that they can make.
