Honorable Mention: Jaylen Brown, Boston Celtics

2017-18 Stats: 14.5 points, 4.9 rebounds

I’ll give ahead nod to Jaylen Brown here, and wasn’t sold him putting him on the real list because of the team he’s on. The Boston Celtics are going to be loaded this season, and there’s only so much love that can go around.

Brown will likely be this team’s 7th best player, yet he could still be in line for a breakout year. He has the athleticism, scoring ability, defensive want-to and is developing his handle which will make him close to a complete player.

The Celtics are going to have some big decisions to make soon on who they’re going to pay, but this is a good problem to have. If Brown was on any other team, he likely would have a good shot to make an all-star team this year.
