Brandon Ingram, Los Angeles Lakers

2017-18 Stats: 16.1 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.9 assists

Who says the Los Angeles Lakers need to trade for a star? They have great young core already on the roster and really just need one of them to pop this season in order for LeBron to have a true running mate.

And that’s where I think Brandon Ingram will rise this season. He had a quietly impressive season a year ago, and I believe he will make his biggest jump in year 3. Ingram might be in the best situation for him to grow, too. Many criticize playing next to LeBron, but it’s often one of the better places for a young player.

LeBron is going to take the pressure off Ingram, taking double teams away from him and he’ll be in spots where he can prosper. It’s up to him, if he steps up.
