Marc Gasol, Memphis Grizzlies

This is where it gets complicated. I don’t think there’s any question, considering where the Memphis Grizzlies stand in the Western Conference hierarchy and how their roster is constructed, that this team should move Marc Gasol.

Gasol is also a free agent next summer, and could end up walking away from the Grizzlies who can’t seem to get it back to relevance. Many expected for the Grizzlies to move Gasol last summer when they were decimated by injuries on their way to a top 5 draft pick. However, they elected to run it back this season with Mike Conley back.

Will this end up being a mistake, though? Memphis could right that wrong by moving Gasol ahead of this year’s trade deadline. Don’t be surprised if this comes to fruition if they get off to a rocky start.
