As the 2018-19 NBA season draws close, here are some bold individual award predictions for the new campaign

The 2018-19 NBA season is on the horizon. LeBron James is on the West Coast for the first time in his career, the Boston Celtics are finally healthy, and the super team that is the Golden State Warriors has gotten even stronger.

Here’s an early looking at who could be earning some serious hardware at the end of the season.

Most Improved Player: Brandon Ingram

While everyone is talking about LeBron’s impact in Los Angeles and Lonzo Ball‘s improved jumpshot, the impact of Brandon Ingram can’t be overlooked. The third-year forward has a tenacity that will allow him to flourish this season, as he is surrounded by veterans like LeBron, Rondo and Lance Stephenson.

He only averaged five rebounds a game last year, but expect that to improve as he spends more time at the power forward position this year.
