Coach of the Year: Brad Stevens

Brad Stevens will finally get his just do. He should have won the award last season, after leading the Boston Celtics to the Eastern Conference Finals without Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward. But the NBA will right a wrong this season.

With both All-Stars back in the lineup, the Celtics are expected to dominate the competition in the East – especially considering that LeBron moved to the West this summer. Anyone who doesn’t think he should win because of the amount of talent in Boston should recall that Steve Kerr took home the award in 2016 with three All-Stars on his squad.

The Celtics could be on the cusp of an especially special season, and Stevens will play a big part in this team’s success this year.
