NBA Trade Rumors: Why Anthony Davis will eventually find his way to the Los Angeles Lakers

The NBA is a superstars league. The NBA is a transaction league.

Both statements are near-facts I have come to understand during my time as an NBA fan. Once every 12 months or so, there is an NBA trade or free agency signing that seems to shock the world.

After seeing how these situations have played out, I have realized most of these transactions were right in front of our face the whole time. Consider this the first installment of a series called “NBA Puzzle Pieces”, where I will piece together big moves before they happen.

We sill start with a player that is already beginning to find himself in the rumor mill, even though he’s two years away from free agency. However, especially for big names on disappointing teams, that’s how this game is generally played.
