As the new NBA season quickly approaches, here are four bold predictions for the new campaign

The 2018-19 NBA season is just over a week away – as pre-season begins to come to an end – and many teams will have a different look with new players (added via free agency or trade) and some very intriguing rookies (via the draft).

Can Kawhi Leonard get the Toronto Raptors over the hump in the Eastern Conference? Will LeBron James lead the Los Angeles Lakers to the playoffs in a loaded Western Conference? How good – or, potentially historic – will the Boston Celtics be this season?These are just three of the many storylines that will drive the NBA narrative this season.
