Minnesota Timberwolves

Tyus Jones

It’s hard to predict a breakout player for the Minnesota Timberwolves this season, but one name to watch is Tyus Jones. He’s a fan favorite and could find himself playing a bigger role this season, depending on what happens with Jimmy Butler.

In just 15 minutes per game last season, Jones averaged six points and three assists per game. However, perhaps what was most impressive was his 50 percent shooting percentage. For a smaller guard, that’s really good.

Even though it was a small sample size, he has shown some interesting attributes when given an opportunity. Which leads me to believe that he probably should be getting more of a shot. And maybe he’ll finally get that this season.
