Philadelphia 76ers

Markelle Fultz

For the most part, Markelle Fultz has been forgotten. It’s like we alsmot forget that he was the top overall pick just last year, and that the Philadelphia 76ers actually traded up to get him. Even though he didn’t have much of a role last season, when he was healthy and available to play, that will likely change this season.

So far in pre-season, that appears to be the case. In the three exhibition games, Fultz is averaging 10 points on 43 percent shooting from the field. Even though those don’t appear to be the best numbers, it’s a big improvement from last season.

And the scariest part of all this is that even if Fultz just improves a smidge, the Sixers still get that much better. After a year of battling one of the weirdest injuries we’ve seen in NBA history, expect Fultz to bounce back this season.
