San Antonio Spurs

Dejounte Murray

Ideally, the San Antonio Spurs would greatly benefit from having a young player like Dejounte Murray breakout for them this season. He’s progressed over the course of his young career and will be giving the keys to the offense this season with Tony Parker in Charlotte.

Last season, his third season in the NBA, Murray started 48 games while averaging eight points, six rebounds and three assists on 44 percent shooting from the field. Murray doesn’t have to be THE guy for the Spurs this season, but he just needs to take a big enough step where he can be counted on consistently.

If he accomplishes that, don’t expect the Spurs to fall off that much this year.
