Cleveland Cavaliers

Collin Sexton

Coming out of the 2018 NBA Draft, Collin Sexton was one of my favorite players. And when he fell to the Cleveland Cavaliers late in the top 10, I loved his possibilities even more. Now that LeBron James is in Los Angeles, Sexton will have the opportunity to really take control of this offense.

Sexton still has some work to do on the offensive end, but what makes me like him so much is his ability on the defensive end and what he can be as a leader. He’s a true lead guard that is tenacious and takes an mile when you give him an inch.

And he began to show that during NBA Summer League, when he caught the eyes of many around the league. I’m not sure if Sexton is going to win the NBA’s Rookie of the Year award this year, but he should finish in the top 3.
