Team Outlook:
The Charlotte Hornets enter this season taking a sink or swim position with the current roster’s core of players.
New head coach James Borrego is tasked with succeeding the Steve Clifford era in Charlotte which produced two playoff appearances in the past five NBA seasons. Borrego will also be tasked with finding chemistry amongst a unbalanced roster that features a group of talented players that play similar positions.
The Hornets have a roster with a handful of very talented offensive players that include Kemba Walker, Tony Parker, and Nicholas Batum. A big season out of Walker could give the Hornets a chance to grab one the last playoff spots in the Eastern Conference this season.
