Team Outlook:
The Miami Heat enter the 2018-19 NBA season as one the teams in the middle of the pack. The Heat are a very good team that can compete with any team on most nights in the NBA. Miami features a roster that has a handful of excellent two-ways players in addition to being lead by one of the top five coaches in the NBA in Coach Erik Spoelstra.
For the Heat to take another step forward this season, it will require a huge season from the Heat’s best player Hassan Whiteside. Whiteside is coming off a sub-par season after establishing himself as one of the more dominant big men in the Eastern Conference. What happens to the Heat this season directly depends on what kind of season Whiteside has.
The Heat have also been involved in trade talks all off-season, inlcuding rumors surrounding the acquisition of Jimmy Butler. Miami is a team that might be one big time player away from being in the thick of contender talk in the Eastern Conference, so we can look out for the Heat to be possible buyers all year as they try to climb further up in the NBA ranks.
