Team Outlook:
The Cleveland Cavaliers took a major loss to begin their 2018 off-season when they lost LeBron James. However, the loss of James came with the entrance of what could become one of the best guards in the NBA for the next decade.
With the 8th pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, the Cavs selected Collin Sexton out of Alabama. The Cavs were also able to sign Kevin Love to a long-term extension, who will now be the primary building block.
The Cavs still have a roster full of talented veterans that have competed deep in the playoffs over the past few seasons. Surrounding this team around Kevin Love, developing the Cavs younger prospects and letting the young Collin Sexton take the lead will allow the Cavs to be an exciting team and a team to look out in the Eastern Conference this season. Sexton has the opportunity to win Rookie of the Year like Kyrie Irving did for the Cavs in 2012.
