Friday, Oct. 19: Golden State Warriors vs. Utah Jazz

The Golden State Warriors face a tough task in their first two games as they play against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday and then the Utah Jazz on Friday. The Thunder could have Russell Westbrook back for the opener but with not quite at 100 percent if feels like the Jazz should be the tougher opponent for the defending champs.

The Jazz are among the league’s best on defense and the offense should be led by Donovan Mitchell who showed during last year’s playoffs the ability to lead the team against the league’s top teams.

The splash brothers looked dominant in the preseason as well as the reigning Finals MVP Kevin Durant so the Jazz will need to be on their best to beat the NBA’s top team.
