The NBA season is finally here tonight. Here are the biggest storylines during opening week.

The new NBA campaign tips off with the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers squaring off in Game 1 of the year. Opening night concludes with the defending NBA Champions, Golden State Warriors, hanging their next banner in the rafters, against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

But that only begins this week’s festivities. Here are the five biggest storylines heading into week 1 of the NBA season.

Boston Celtics and their chemistry

Opening week matchups: 76ers, Raptors, and Knicks

For the first time since the very first minute of last season, the Boston Celtics are fully healthy. The Celtics are set to open up the season against their division rivals, the Philadelphia 76ers.

We will all expect this home opener to generate playoff atmosphere.

Boston is undoubtedly the team with the most depth in the league, and it will be interesting and exciting to see how far a healthy Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward can take the Celtics.
