Carmelo Anthony‘s fit with the Rockets

Opening week matchups: Pelicans and Lakers

Carmelo Anthony will have yet another new start, this time with the Houston Rockets. Although there was an issue with accepting a bench role last season with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Melo will be coming off the bench for the Rockets.

If Melo can accept a bench role on a legitimate contender, we can at least expect this season will be better than his last. The talent is still there for the former perennial all-star, I don’t think many will question that.

The fit is what has been most challenging for Melo’s last few stops in the NBA. Will that change this season? We’re about to find out.
