Kawhi Leonard‘s new start in Toronto

Opening week matchups: Cavaliers, Celtics, and Wizards

Since the unexpected trade that sent DeMar DeRozan, Jakob Poeltl and a 2019 first-round pick to the San Antonio Spurs for Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green, Kawhi is finally ready to play.

Leonard is ready to put the Spurs drama behind him and try to contend for another championship in an easier Eastern Conference.

The Toronto Raptors also have one of the most talented rosters in the NBA and they are in a better position than last year to finally advance to the NBA Finals. And hopefully Kawhi will be laughing more as he will have another legitimate shot at an NBA Championship. Will he like his stint with the Raptors, though? That will be the ultimate question for him this season, as he hits free agency after this year
