We’re roughly one week into the 2018-19 NBA season; here are some gut reactions from the first few games of the new campaign

We’re only through a few games into the 2018-19 NBA season, but there is plenty to unload and nitpick.

So far, in just the first week, we’ve seen LeBron James struggle with his new supporting cast with the Los Angeles Lakers, the Boston Celtics impress at full strength and the rise of potentially some  quiet contenders in both the East and West.

All that, and we’ve only begun to scratch the surface on what the new season has in store. While there are still plenty of questions that have yet to be answered about the new campaign, there are still plenty of conclusions we can begin to draw.

Even though some of them may be premature, and quite unfair, they’re still fun. So as the 2018-19 NBA season continues to unfold, here are five gut reactions from the first week of the season.
