Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors

Stats: 31 points, 5.3 rebounds, 7.7 assists, 51% FG, 47% 3PT

It’s easy to scoff and overlook what’s happening with the Golden State Warriors, mostly because we’re tired of their success, but Stephen Curry is off to a hot start. It appears that MVP Steph could be back to make another run at the award.

Through three games, Curry is shooting a career high in both field goal and 3-point percentage. Of course, it’s only been three games but with the team that he has around him, it wouldn’t be all that surprising for Curry to be able to maintain this shooting level.

Curry and the Warriors will have a target on their backs every night, and that has been the case for the last two years. So it makes what Curry is able to do even more impressive.
