What have we learned from the first week of the 2018-19 NBA season?

The 2018-19 NBA season is here and in full swing. Teams like Boston, Golden State, Houston, and Toronto have NBA Championship aspirations. However, before we get to June, we have to make it through the first week of the season. Now that the first week is over we have to see what we have learned through the first week.

Let’s take a look at the NBA after week one.

Boston Celtics

Sitting at 2-2 right now, the Boston Celtics are figuring out how all this talent is going to mesh together. I look at Boston the same way I looked at LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh joining up in Miami. It is going to take a little bit for these guys to figure what their roles are.

Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward are getting the NBA legs back after missing significant time with injuries. Jayson Tatum put everybody on notice that he is not going to take a backseat to anybody on the Celtics. Tatum has looked very good so far.

Once the Celtics get their roles figured out and Kyrie and Gordon Hayward get their legs back the Celtics will roll. There is to much talent on this team to hover around .500. I would be surprised if the Celtics don’t win at least 60 games.
