Los Angeles Lakers

0-3. Where expectations a little overstated? Are the Lakers showing us what they are? The NBA wants a successful team in Los Angeles for sure.

The Lakers don’t have shooters and that usually doesn’t work out for success in the NBA. That is the big takeaway from week one with the Lakers. For everyone who believes that LeBron is going to get frustrated with this team I agree. However, James can blame himself for that. LeBron was in on every free agent signing for this team. I liked the Rondo signing, but he’s not a shooter.

Lance Stephenson was a unique choice for the Lakers, but he is streaky at best. Lonzo Ball just can’t shoot. LeBron James is a drive to the basket and kick the ball out to shooters type of player. Until the Lakers get him shooters it’s going to be long season for the Lakers.
