New Orleans Pelicans

The New Orleans Pelicans stand at 3-0 so far. If any of you caught their opening night demolition of the Houston Rockets on the road it caught your eye. Anthony Davis is averaging 28.5 points per game. Davis made the Rockets look like high school junior varsity team. He’s so big and long, he can run the court, block shots, and shoot the ball from the outside.

There really isn’t anything that AD can’t do. Nikola Mirotic is playing like a man possessed. He’s providing another threat that opponents have to worry about. He’s averaging 33 points a game. Does that last? Who knows, but the Pelicans are showing that they are just more than a one man team.

Julius Randle who was signed away from the Lakers is providing a scoring punch as well. He’s putting up 19 points a game and he brings that high energy type of game. Look out for this team as the season moves forward.
