Milwaukee Bucks

The Milwaukee Bucks have started off very well with their 3-0 record. Giannis Antetokounmpo leads the team in points (27.3) and rebounds (16.0). The Greek Freak is playing like a possible MVP candidate. If Giannis isn’t in the conversation for MVP then I don’t know what the voters are looking at.

The Bucks are going to be a tough out this season. One of the keys to this season will be the play of Brook Lopez. I think this pick up by the Bucks can play a huge role in how the Bucks do. He can take the double teams away from Giannis and create more 1:1 match ups for The Freak. Putting Khris Middleton, Eric Bledsoe, and Malcolm Brogdon in the mix as well creates opportunities for the Bucks to beat you from the outside and not just rely on what Giannis is doing down on the box.

Milwaukee beat Charlotte in a thriller to open the season and then easily put down a playoff team in Indiana, and finished off the New York Knicks. Once again, Milwaukee is going to give teams huge problems. Does Milwaukee continue to give reason to think that they can win the East? Stay tuned.

At the end of the day it is really anybody’s guess how all this plays out. The big equalizers are going to be injuries and how long any of the teams have to deal with these injuries. The healthier a a team stays, the better chance at doing something special in June. Based off of the first week, it’s going to be a fun ride.
