18. Minnesota Timberwolves (2-4)
Even with Jimmy Butler still on the roster, the Minnesota Timberwolves have left a lot to be desired. Maybe one of them has to do with the other, but I can’t help but think that this entire Jimmy Butler saga has, at least, have some sort of impact on the team underperforming so far this season.
And until there’s some sort of resolution, and there’s hope that we could get one soon, I still believe that the same questions will continue to revolve around this team. Tom Thibodeau needs to get a hold of this locker room before he loses his job. And the first step in achieving that likely is moving Butler.
This time last season, there was so much promise in that locker room. Just a year later, even though much of the roster is the same, I can’t help but think how much things have change. It’s actually quite amazing.
